get cute baby soft feet using 2 ingredients

If you’re like many people, the thought of wearing sandals can be quite intimidating. That’s because the feet aren’t pampered like most parts of the body. Most people think, “Why should I? They have covered anyway.”

That statement is true, but it doesn’t make it right. You spend hours looking for the perfect facial, finding the best astringent, and testing every great cream on the market, judging each result with a critical eye.

You spend almost as much time finding hand creams that will soften each of your phalanges and hours of trimming, smoothing, and painting your nails. Your hair gets the royal treatment, but your feet and toes get nothing.

Your little “tootsies” need some love. A pedicure is fabulous, but it’s not always easy to fit into your schedule or your budget.

If you’re constantly trying to find ways to hide your toes or never wear flip-flops or sandals because, frankly, your feet are a disaster area.

Maybe you need to find an inexpensive and efficient home pedicure that will keep your feet soft and supple.

Doing it at home will save you the money that it costs for a salon visit and most of all, the time. You can do it at your own leisure, long after business hours at the salon.

It can be as simple as this two-ingredient scrub, which softens as it removes dead skin cells and ground-in dirt from your feet.

As it removes those built-up cells, it also prevents cracking, dullness, and hardness, while fighting fungal and bacterial infections.

what are the 2 ingredients?

They’re probably already on your shelf at home. They are baking soda and milk. That’s right, your favorite white mustache drink and your home sink and oven scrubber.

ingredient 1 milk

Milk is excellent for adding moisture to the skin. Cleopatra was known for her famous milk baths that kept her skin beautiful.

Milk not only has an antiseptic quality that is both antibacterial and anti-fungal, but it also has Beta hydroxy, a lactic acid.

It’s a form of alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin, allowing the other rich nutrients in milk, such as vitamin Bs, D, calcium, magnesium, protein, selenium, and potassium to soak deeply into the new skin underneath.

ingredient 2 baking soda

It’s the perfect soft scrubs you may already use for sinks and tubs, but it also helps exfoliate the tough skin on the feet. It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and soothing quality.

It helps rebalance the skin’s pH level. If you have stinky feet, baking soda also helps. The antibacterial quality kills the germs and neutralizes the odors they cause.

The deodorizing action is one reason people keep it on their refrigerator shelf.

Combining the two ingredients creates a thick lotion-like scrub that will have your feet looking beautiful in no time.

you’ll need:

  • 2 or 3 cups of milk
  • baking soda
  • good-sized bowl to fit both feet

step by step directions:

step 1

Microwave your milk to make it warm or you can use the stove to warm the milk. You can use more milk depending on how big the size of your bowl/container is.

step 2

Once the milk is warmed, place it in a good-size bowl or basin and soak your tootsies for about 5 – 10 minutes.

step 3

After a good soak, grab some baking soda and lightly sprinkle on your one damp foot and gently rub/massage the areas where the skin is more thick or rough. Do the same process with the other foot.

Don’t forget to work the mixture into the tops of your feet and ankles as well, even if they are not fully submerged.

step 4

Once you feel that you’ve scrubbed enough, sit back and let your feet soak again for additional 5 minutes or more.

step 5

After that, rinse your feet with warm water and dry them off. You can also try these tricks if you want to reduce wrinkles on hands and fingers. It’s one of my favorites DIY treatments at home.

extra tip

  • If you’re doing this routine at night, you can apply vaseline on your feet and wear socks overnight. The next day you’ll wake up with a baby’s soft feet.
  • Combining the two ingredients creates a thick lotion-like scrub that will have your feet looking beautiful in no time.

try new things, step out of your comfort zone, take risks, do things in ways you’ve never done them before, ask for help, surround yourself with self-actualized people, become obsessed with the fact that you have one go-round on this planet as you that is you, and realize how precious and important it is not to squander that.
