A Beginner’s Guide To The Military Diet!

The military diet, also called the 3-day diet, is a weight loss diet that can help you lose up to 10 pounds in a week. This eating routine has a plan that does not allow any changes, and all guidelines must be followed to the end if you want to reach the desired results.

Given that this diet works on the principle of chemical breakdown, you cannot apply the food substitution method and try to replace some of the foods with others that you like better. Concerning the spices, just salt and pepper are allowed and nothing else.

Fast weight reduction is the main advantage of this diet. It is not rare to lose up to 10 pounds after only 3 days. Simplicity, widely available foods and meals that are quick and easy to prepare are other benefits of this diet. In addition, this diet increases energy, enhances complexion, reduces the appearance of allergies, it increases libido and rids the body of toxins.

The Military Diet is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women and all other people with health problems should counsel a doctor before dieting. Because the intake of calories is only about 1,000 a day, it may cause dizziness and loss of concentration.

The Remaining 4 Days
The remainder of the week also involves dieting.

Snacks are permitted and there are no food group restrictions. However, you are encouraged to limit portion sizes and keep total calorie intake under 1,500 per day.

There are no other rules for the remaining 4 days of the diet.
